Editorial policy

Three stages

1. Draft: an outline or first draft. Never published.
2. Review: a second person checks every factual claim against the listed sources. Never published.
3. Approved: at least one source is listed, a named person has recorded the verification date, and only then is the page built into the live site.

Sources

We use official tourism boards, transport operators, local authorities, property operators' own official pages and our own visits. Every content page lists its sources and the date each was accessed.

What we never publish

• Text, photographs, guest reviews, ratings or prices copied from booking platforms.
• Distances or travel times we cannot attribute to a source.
• Images without a recorded licence and credit.
• Invented facts. Where research is outstanding, the page says so and stays unpublished.

Updates

Each page shows a last-updated date. Report errors via the contact page.

Commercial independence

We earn a commission if you book through links on this site. It costs you nothing extra and does not change what we recommend. Commission never influences which places we include or how we describe them. See the affiliate disclosure.
